Woodland Spring Walk May 2 - 3, 2026

Walking weekend in the spring forest - Poetic trails and the first miracles of spring. 2\. - May 3, 2026 When was the last time you heard the forest wake up? The birds that plaster the voice, and the earth that smells of beginning? This weekend we invite you out, where the pace slows and winter's heavy coat can finally be hung on a branch. We wander through Gisselfeld's ancient forests at a social pace and good company. Your guide is Morten — former hunter soldier, now expert in calm, direction and timely coffee. Along the way, you get a sandwich and something good to drink -- and we talk less than we listen. As the day winds down, spacious rooms and vegetarian dinner await at long tables. Our base is The Woodland Lodge Gisselfeld. A peaceful forest hotel where past and spring meet in the same breath.

Woodland Late Summer Walking August 8 - 9, 2026

Poetic Paths and the Quiet Magic of Late Summer When was the last time you walked through a forest where the late summer light is filtered like amber between the branches? Or the mark, how the air smells of maturity and new beginnings? This weekend we invite you to go where the pace slows down and we get calm to follow the rhythm of nature — right where summer lets go and late summer breathes for the first time. We wander in the old forests of Gisselfeld, at a social pace and good company. \ Morten — a former hunter soldier with a sense of presence and the details of nature — is your guide. Along the way, there are sandwiches and cold elderflower juice with mint. \ We are mostly quiet and return home to spacious rooms and a tasteful evening menu at the long table. Our base is The Woodland Lodge Gisselfeld. A peaceful forest hotel filled with history, personality and the warm lights of late summer.

Tour de France with Bike Tours 24 - 26 July 2026

Bike rides, Tour de France and cold beers in the woods Date: July 24—26 Start your days with guided bike rides through beautiful forests and open landscapes, followed by hearty “all on one board” lunches. We follow the Tour de France's mountain stages on a big screen with cold beers, talk and tactical discussions. We cycle 65 - 75 kilometers per day. Dinners: day 1 at the long table, day 2 barbecue dinner under the open sky. Breakfast all three days. Stay in double rooms and bring a family member to explore Destination Gisselfeldfremfor to ride a bike. Come as you are and enjoy three days of movement, coziness and mountain stages amidst the tranquility of the forest.
